Children over 7 years will come into the church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, adapted for children.

They will receive the gifts of the Sacraments of: Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist, all at once at the during our Easter Vigil Celebration.  Children will attend classes along with their parents to grow and learn about Our Catholic Faith.  They will participate in a number of beautiful rites with the entire parish community praying for them on their journey.

 Baptism for Adults

Adults will attend our RCIA class which usually begins in September with an Inquiry Class.  Those interesed in becoming Catholic can ask questions and learn more about the Catholic Faith.

After deciding if they would like to enter the Catholic Church they will attend a special Rite called the Rite of Acceptance. The classes following the Rite of Acceptance will help teach them more about the Catholic Church and will guide them on thier journey as Catechumens and Candidates in the church.  During the Season of Lent, our Catechumens and Candidates will Receive many special prayers and blessings and will then go to the Cathedral to meet the Bishop and be recieved as the Elect.
